Support itself is practical. Help with cooking, shopping, budgeting, appointments and post. Someone alongside a person managing anxiety or getting used to a new routine. Backing while somebody takes on a job, a course or a tenancy for the first time. The amount should be what a person actually needs, and it should be able to reduce as well as grow. For people living with mental health needs we watch for early signs that things are shifting and work with community teams rather than around them.
