About Springboard Business Centre
We are a home care agency working in Middlesbrough and the surrounding area, providing care and support to older people and to younger adults in their own homes. What we do depends on what the person actually wants. For some it is a short call each morning to help with washing, dressing and medication so the day starts safely and without a struggle. For others it is support at several points, with meals, mobility, the laundry and keeping the house in order, or a hand with shopping and getting out to appointments and to see people. For younger adults the emphasis is often less on personal care and more on the practical business of running a home and a life. Before anything begins we come and talk it through with the person and anyone they want involved, agree what is needed and write it down in plain language, then review it honestly as things change. We say plainly when we think somebody needs more support than can safely be given at home. Reliability is what people judge us on, so we keep the same carers going to the same households, arrive when we said we would and ring if we are delayed.
