About Kings Care At Home
We are Kings Care At Home, and we support adults in their own homes in Harrogate and the surrounding parts of North Yorkshire. Our visits range from a single short call each day through to several hours of support, arranged to fit the person's routine rather than our convenience. We help older people with washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping and the household jobs that become harder with time. We support adults living with dementia, where familiar faces arriving at predictable times do more good than anything else we can offer, so we keep the same care workers with the same households as far as the rota allows. We also support people with physical disabilities, taking care over equipment and over how each person prefers to be assisted, and younger adults who want help that reduces as their confidence grows. Parts of our patch are rural, so we plan our rounds around geography as well as need, and if we are running late we ring rather than leaving somebody watching the window.
