Support is agreed with the person, and with family or an advocate if they want that, and it is reviewed frequently because at this stage things genuinely do change from week to week. We work closely with therapists, district nurses, GPs and hospital teams so that everyone is pulling the same way. Visits can cover personal care, medication, meals and drinks, practice at getting about safely, help around the house and company. Where somebody is not going to regain what they have lost, we say so honestly and help them plan for longer term support. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
