About Northamptonshire
We are a home care agency based in Wellingborough, providing support to people in their own homes across north Northamptonshire. We visit older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities or sight and hearing loss, and people managing mental health conditions. Most of our work is the ordinary business of making home life manageable again. Getting up and going to bed, washing and dressing, prompting and support with medication, cooking, shopping, laundry and keeping the house straight. For some households that is one visit a day and for others it is four, and it changes over time as needs change. We put real weight on continuity. Being helped to wash or dress is only comfortable when it is done by someone you know and trust, so we keep the team around each person small and consistent, and we introduce anyone new properly rather than sending an unfamiliar face without warning. Our carers are asked to look as well as do. If someone is eating less, becoming unsteady or seeming low, we want to hear about it the same day so that we can speak to the family or the GP before it becomes something bigger. Our overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are arranging care at home in Wellingborough or nearby, please contact us and we will visit, listen and set out honestly what we can provide.
