Aitop Healthcare provides care and support in people's own homes across Corby and the wider North Northamptonshire area. We work with older people and with younger adults, and our packages run from one short call a day to substantial support arranged around complex needs. The people we visit have a wide range of circumstances. We support people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, and people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or drug misuse. Supporting that range properly means assessing each person carefully rather than letting a diagnosis decide what they need. Visits cover personal care, medication, meals, shopping, laundry, household tasks and company. Where somebody is working towards greater independence, we plan for that instead of settling into a routine that does everything for them. We schedule for continuity of carer, train staff for the needs of the people they will actually be visiting, and supervise them properly once they are working. Families are kept informed while decisions stay with the person we support. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
