About Carewatch
Carewatch in Corby provides care and support to people in their own homes across the town and the surrounding parts of North Northamptonshire. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability or autism, people managing mental health conditions and people with a physical disability. Our starting point is always a conversation in the person's own home. We want to understand how the day currently works and where it breaks down, what the person wants to keep doing themselves and what they would genuinely welcome help with. Only then do we agree what we will do. Support can include personal care, prompting and help with medication, preparing meals and drinks, help with moving about safely, shopping, laundry and housework, and getting out to appointments, work or education. Some people need a single short visit each day and others need several longer ones. Reliability is what people judge us on. We plan rounds so carers are not chasing the clock, keep the same people visiting the same households wherever possible, and tell people when something has to change. If you are considering care at home in Corby, please ring us and we will arrange to visit you.
