About 4 Futures
We are 4 Futures, a home care agency based in Rushden and working with people throughout North Northamptonshire. Everything we do happens in the place our clients know best, which is their own home, and that shapes how we work. We fit around established routines rather than asking anyone to fit around us. We support older people who want to stay independent at home for as long as possible, and we also work with younger adults, including people with a learning disability and autistic people. Some of the people we visit need a short call to help the day start well. Others need longer support with personal care, medication, meals, shopping or simply company. We talk through what is needed with the person and, where they wish, with their family, then we agree a plan and review it as circumstances change. Consistency matters a great deal in home care, so we try hard to send the same familiar faces to each person. Our carers are trained for the specific support each client requires, and they are encouraged to tell us when something is not working so that we can put it right quickly. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We are glad of that, though the measure we care about most is whether the people we visit feel comfortable, safe and genuinely well looked after in their own homes.
