About Status Care Services
We are Status Care, a home care agency supporting people in Kettering and the surrounding parts of North Northamptonshire. Our carers visit people at home and help with whatever has become difficult, at the times of day when that help is genuinely needed. Most of the people we support are older and want to carry on living in their own house. We help with washing and dressing, getting up in the morning and settling at night, medication, preparing meals, shopping, laundry and keeping the place comfortable, as well as getting out to appointments or simply out of the front door for a while. We also support younger adults who need a hand to live independently, whether that means practical tasks or somebody alongside them while confidence builds. We plan our visits with enough time in them to do the job properly, and we try to keep the same carers with the same people, because a familiar face makes personal care far easier and means somebody notices when a person is not themselves. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission. In place of that we would encourage you to ask us how we recruit and train our carers, how we supervise them, what happens if a visit is running late and who you can speak to out of hours. We are happy to answer all of it and to visit without obligation.
