About Lifestyle Care Support
Lifestyle Care Support provides care and support to people in their own homes in Kettering and across North Northamptonshire. We work with older people, younger adults, adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults, people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss. Home care is only worth having if it fits the person. We visit first and talk properly about how the day actually goes now, what has become difficult and what somebody wants to carry on doing themselves. The plan comes out of that conversation, agreed with the person and with family or an advocate if they want them there. We keep the team around each household small. Being helped by somebody who already knows you is not a luxury, particularly for autistic people and for anybody who finds new faces difficult, so we introduce staff properly and avoid changes at short notice wherever we can. Support covers personal care, medication, meals and drinks, housework and laundry, shopping, getting out to appointments, work, college or something sociable, and company. Where somebody has a physical disability we look closely at equipment, transfers and how the home is set up. Where sight or hearing is affected we think about how we announce ourselves and explain what we are doing. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch if you would like to arrange a visit.
