Being helped with personal care by somebody unfamiliar is genuinely uncomfortable, and for anybody living with dementia a stranger at the door can unsettle a whole morning, so we keep the team around each person small and give notice when a change cannot be avoided. For people recovering from alcohol or drug misuse, and for people with mental health needs, reliability and an absence of judgement are most of what we bring.
