About Aspects Care

Aspects Care supports people in their own homes in Grimsby and the surrounding area. We visit older people and younger adults, adults with a learning disability or autism and people with physical disabilities. Our starting point is what somebody wants their own week to look like, not a list of what they can no longer do. For some people that means practical help at the start and end of the day, with washing, dressing, medication and meals. For others it is support to get out to work, college or a club, to manage money and appointments, or to keep a tenancy and a routine going. For others again it is several calls a day while a family carer does the rest and needs to know we will be there. We plan our rounds so that people see the same carers. Familiar staff know what normal looks like for a person and notice quickly when it changes, and where somebody communicates in their own way it takes time and consistency to learn it properly. We agree what is needed with the person and whoever they want involved, write it down in plain language and change it when circumstances change. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
