Our visits cover personal care, help with dressing and washing, medication, meals, shopping and the household jobs that become awkward when mobility or memory falters. We support people living with dementia, people with a physical disability, people whose sight or hearing is impaired and younger adults needing support at home. Familiarity is something we protect. We keep a small team around each person so that the face at the door is a known one, which matters particularly in dementia care and means our carers notice quickly when something has changed. We always start with a visit and an unhurried conversation, usually with family present if that is what the person wants. The plan we write is in plain language, agreed rather than imposed, and revisited as things move on. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
