About Family Care
Seaford Family Care provides care and support to people in their own homes in Seaford and the surrounding part of East Sussex. We work with older people, younger adults and people living with dementia. We are a local provider and we intend to stay one. Our staff live nearby, know the town and are not driving half an hour between calls. It also means that when something needs sorting out, you are talking to somebody who can actually sort it rather than to a number that passes you along. Support begins with a visit and a proper conversation, at no cost and with no obligation. We want to understand what the day looks like now, what has become difficult and what the person wants to keep doing for themselves. From that we agree a plan, with family involved if that is wanted, and we keep it under review. What we do covers personal care, help with medication, meals and drinks, housework and laundry, shopping, getting to appointments, and company for people whose days have become isolated. For people living with dementia we keep the same small team visiting and work at the person's pace rather than the clock's. Family carers matter to us too. Regular, reliable support at home is often what allows somebody to keep caring for a relative without reaching breaking point. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please give us a ring if you would like to talk things over.
