About Sussex Comfort Care
Sussex Comfort Care provides care at home in Peacehaven and along the surrounding East Sussex coast. We support older people, adults living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, people with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults who need help to manage day to day life independently. We started from a simple observation. Most people do not want to move. They want to stay in the house they know, keep their own routines and hold on to the things that make the day theirs. Our job is to make that workable, whether that means a single morning visit or several calls a day covering personal care, medication, meals and company. Practical help matters, but so does noticing. A carer who knows someone well spots when they are eating less, sleeping badly or becoming unsteady on their feet, and raises it before it becomes an emergency. We expect that of our team, and we make sure they have time to do more than rush through a list of tasks. We keep rounds local so people see familiar faces, we train our carers before they work alone, and senior staff review plans regularly and whenever needs change. Families are kept informed, and we would always rather hear a concern early than discover it later. If you would like to talk about what support might suit you or a relative, please get in touch and we will arrange to come and see you.
