About My Personal Enablement Support Partnership CIC
We are My Personal Enablement Support Partnership, and we provide support to adults in their own homes in Eastbourne and the surrounding parts of East Sussex. Enablement is the point rather than a slogan: our aim is to help people do more for themselves over time, not to do everything for them indefinitely. We support adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people living with mental ill health, and older people who need help to carry on living independently, including many younger adults who are building a life of their own. In practice that covers personal care where it is needed, medication, health appointments, cooking, shopping, cleaning, budgeting and keeping a tenancy going. Just as importantly it covers the things that make a week worth having, whether that is work, volunteering, a course, a club or seeing friends and family. We work out what somebody can already do, what they want to learn and where they genuinely need us, and then we step back wherever stepping back is right. We pay close attention to how each person communicates and to what makes a day feel manageable, and we record what works so it is not lost when the rota changes. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to talk about support.
