About AQS Homecare Sussex
AQS Homecare Sussex provides care and support in people's own homes across Eastbourne and the wider East Sussex area. We work with older people and with younger adults, and our packages range from one short daily call to substantial support built around complex needs. The range of people we support is broad. It includes people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions including eating disorders, people with physical disabilities, people with sight or hearing loss, and people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or drug misuse. Working across that range depends on assessing each person carefully and not assuming that a diagnosis tells us what somebody wants from us. Visits cover personal care, medication, meals, shopping, household tasks and company. Where someone is working towards greater independence, the plan is built for that rather than quietly taking over. Continuity of carer is scheduled for rather than hoped for. Our carers are trained for the needs of the people they visit and supervised properly once they are in post, and we keep families informed when something changes while leaving decisions with the person themselves. The Care Quality Commission rated us good at our most recent inspection. Please contact us if you would like to discuss care at home.
