About Amber Valley Total Care
Amber Valley Total Care provides care and support in people's own homes across Ilkeston and the surrounding parts of Derbyshire. Our purpose is to make staying at home a realistic option for as long as somebody wants it. What that takes varies enormously. The same carer, at the same time, in a home the person already understands, prevents more confusion and distress than any technique we could apply. Where we support younger adults and people with learning disabilities the emphasis moves from care towards enabling, and success looks like somebody getting to work or college and running their own home.
