About Peak Care Homecare
We are Peak Care Homecare, and we support adults in their own homes in Chesterfield and across north Derbyshire. Our visits range from a single short call each day through to several hours of support, arranged to fit the person's routine rather than our rota. We help older people with washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping and the household jobs that become harder with time. We support adults living with dementia, where familiar faces arriving at predictable times do more good than anything else we can offer. We also support people living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or drug use, working without judgement and alongside the professionals involved. We should be straightforward with you. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather tell you that here than let you find it elsewhere. We know what the inspectors raised with us, we are working through it, and we are willing to discuss any part of it with anybody considering our support or already receiving it. How we want to work has not changed: assess properly at home, plan with the person, keep the rota as steady as we can, and answer the phone. Please get in touch.
