For people living with dementia a familiar face is the whole reason a visit goes well. Company matters too. For a good number of the people we visit, our carer is the main person they will speak to that day, so we build time for a proper conversation into the visit rather than treating it as an extra. We also match carers and households thoughtfully, including on language, which matters in a part of London as varied as this.
