About Illum Health
We are Illum Health, and we support adults in their own homes in Camden and the surrounding parts of London. Our visits range from a single short call each day through to several hours of support, arranged to fit the person's routine rather than our rota. We help older people with washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping and the household jobs that become harder with time. We support people living with mental ill health, where a routine that holds and a dependable presence can matter as much as any clinical input, and we work alongside the community teams involved in somebody's care. We also support people with physical disabilities, and there we put real effort into the practical detail, because equipment, transfers, seating and how somebody prefers to be assisted are what decide how much independence they actually have. Many of those we support are younger adults who want help that reduces as their confidence grows. Everything starts with a visit and a proper conversation at home, with family or an advocate present if that is wanted. The plan is written with the person and reviewed rather than filed away. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission. Please get in touch.
