About Feelcare Domiciliary Services
Feelcare supports people in their own homes across Camden and the surrounding parts of London. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, autistic adults and people with a learning disability, people managing mental ill health, adults with physical disabilities, people with sight or hearing loss and younger adults. London can be an isolating place to grow older or to manage a long term condition, and a great deal of our work is making sure somebody dependable arrives when they said they would. That covers personal care done without rushing, medication managed properly, meals worth eating, shopping, laundry and housework, help to get to appointments, and time for a real conversation rather than a signature and out of the door. We keep rounds geographically tight so calls run to time and people see familiar faces, and we give notice when a regular carer is away. For people living with dementia we hold that continuity firmly, because a familiar person is worth more than any technique. For younger adults the work is often support to get out to work or college rather than help winding down. Our carers train before they work alone, are supervised in people's homes afterwards and are expected to raise anything that worries them the same day.
