About Radis Community Care (Reading Supported Living)
Radis Community Care, through our Reading Supported Living team, provides care and support to people in their own homes in and around Bracknell. We work with older people and people living with dementia, with adults who have a learning disability and with autistic adults, with people who have mental health needs, physical disabilities or a visual or hearing impairment, with younger adults, with people recovering from an eating disorder and with people affected by alcohol or drug misuse. Much of our work is supported living, where the person holds their own tenancy and we are there to make independent life workable. Support is planned with the person, covers what they want to achieve as well as what they need help with, and is reviewed as they move on. We should be open about our last inspection. The Care Quality Commission rated us requires improvement overall. We have not treated that as unfair or as a paperwork problem. The work since has concentrated on the things that affect people directly, which are getting the right staff to the right person reliably, recording and administering medication properly, and making sure that when somebody raises a concern it reaches a manager and gets answered.
