About Maidment Court

Maidment Court provides care and support to people in their own homes in Poole and the surrounding area. Our work is about making it possible for people to stay where they are settled, with support that fits around the life they already have. We support older adults with personal care, medication, meals and the practical tasks of the week. We support people living with dementia, where familiar carers arriving at familiar times do more good than anything else on offer. We also work with adults who have a learning disability or who are autistic, people living with a physical disability, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and adults managing mental health conditions. Every arrangement starts with a proper conversation about what would genuinely help. We agree the plan with the person, write it down together and review it as circumstances change, particularly after illness or a stay in hospital. Wherever we can, the same small group of carers visits the same households, because noticing when something is different depends on knowing somebody well. Our staff are checked before they start, trained for the work they carry out and supported by managers who are contactable when advice is needed. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good, which we treat as a standard to keep meeting. If you would like to discuss support at home in the Poole area, please get in touch and we will explain clearly what we could arrange.
