About Adriel Care

Adriel Care provides support at home for people in Poole and the surrounding area. We work with people living with dementia, people with a learning disability or autism, people with a physical disability and people with sight or hearing loss. Everything begins with a proper conversation in somebody's own home about their routine, their preferences and where help would make the biggest difference. Support might mean personal care and medication, cooking, shopping and housework, help getting out into the community, or company for somebody who sees very few people in a week. We think carefully about matching carers to the people they visit, because the right fit makes more difference than anything written in a plan, and we keep teams small so familiar faces turn up. For people living with dementia, consistency does more good than almost anything else we can offer. The same carers, arriving when they said they would, noticing early when something has changed because they know what normal looks like for that person. Where somebody has sight or hearing loss we take particular care over how we communicate, and where a person communicates in ways other than speech we take the time needed to understand properly rather than assume. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We treat it as the standard we are expected to hold rather than an achievement to display. If you would like to talk about support at home in this area, please get in touch and we will explain the options plainly.
