About Margaret's Homecare Services
Margaret's Homecare provides care and support in people's own homes in Bournemouth and the surrounding area. We are here for people who want to carry on living in their own place, with their own routine, and who need some help to make that work safely. Most of our work is with older adults. That can mean a short call to help with getting up, washing, dressing and medication, help with meals, shopping and keeping the house in order, or longer visits for people who need closer support and company through the day. We support people living with dementia, where the most useful thing we bring is a familiar person who is not hurrying and who already knows how this individual likes things done. We work with people who have physical disabilities, helping with washing, dressing, mobility and getting out of the house while leaving the person in charge of how it is done, and we support younger adults, whose care is planned around work, study, family and independence. We keep the number of different workers visiting each person as small as we can, because familiarity lets people relax and lets us notice changes early.
