About Keyspring Care

Keyspring Care Bournemouth provides care and support to people in their own homes across Bournemouth and the surrounding area. We work with older people and with younger adults. Home care is at its best when it is quiet and unremarkable. Somebody arrives at the time they said, helps with what needs doing, has a proper conversation rather than a rushed one, and leaves the person better set up for the rest of the day. Very little of that is complicated. Most of it comes down to organisation, decent staff and taking the trouble to find out how each person wants things done. We help with personal care, medication, meals, household tasks and getting out of the house, and we build the visits around the day a person already has. We keep the group of carers going to each household as small as we can, because letting somebody into your home is a matter of trust and because familiar staff notice when something has changed. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and have not yet received an overall rating. We say so plainly and welcome questions about how we recruit and supervise our staff.
