About Belamie Gables Care Home
Here at Belamie Gables Care Home, we are proud to be part of the Reading and Wokingham community, providing a warm and genuinely homely environment where residents feel safe, respected and well looked after. We support a range of needs under one roof, including older person care, residential care, dementia care, younger adults and respite care. Whether someone is joining us for a short stay to recover or rest, or making Belamie Gables their long term home, we take the time to understand who they are, what matters to them and how we can make daily life as comfortable and fulfilling as possible. Dementia care is something we approach with particular thoughtfulness. We know that a diagnosis affects not just the individual but the whole family, and we work closely with everyone involved to ensure that care feels consistent, familiar and kind. Our team gets to know each resident as a person first, learning their routines, their preferences and their histories, so that the care we provide always feels personal rather than generic. For younger adults who need residential support, we understand that their expectations and goals may look quite different from those of older residents, and we do our best to make sure their care reflects that. We were pleased to receive a rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection, which we feel reflects the genuine effort our team puts in every day. That said, we never see a good rating as a reason to stand still. We are always looking at how we can improve and listening carefully to feedback from residents, families and staff alike. If you would like to find out more or come and have a look around, we would love to hear from you.
