About Reinbek
Reinbek is a residential care home in Stockport providing care for older people, including people living with dementia. We offer permanent places and shorter respite stays. We are a home rather than a facility, and we put a fair amount of effort into keeping it that way. People here get up when they wake, eat what they like, and pass the day as they want to. Some are in company from breakfast onwards and some would far rather have a quiet room and the radio on, and neither choice attracts any comment from us. The care covers help with washing and dressing, prompting and administering medication, meals cooked on the premises, support with mobility, and somebody always about when a person wants them. For those living with dementia we keep the routine steady and the faces familiar, and we arrange the house so that it is easy to make sense of. Stockport is home for most of the people living here, and family and friends are welcome whenever they wish to come. Respite can cover a family holiday or a period of recovery after illness. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please ring us if you would like to look round.
