About Valkyrie Lodge
Valkyrie Lodge is a residential care home in Westcliff on Sea. We support adults living with mental health conditions who need a settled place to live and the right support around them. What we offer is stability more than anything else. A place of your own, a household that runs predictably, staff who know you and do not treat a difficult week as a crisis. People living here are not passing through a programme, they are living their lives, and our job is to support that with as much independence as somebody wants and can manage. For one person that means support close at hand through the day; for another it means being left to get on with things, knowing help is there if it is needed. We also offer respite stays, which can give a family carer a break and give the person staying a change of scene with reliable support around them. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was good. We keep our own checks going between inspections, since the real standard is the one we hold on an ordinary day. If you are looking for a placement or a short stay, please get in touch. You are welcome to come and see the house, meet the team and ask us whatever you need to ask.
