About Meteor Rest Home
Here at Meteor Rest Home, we are a residential care home nestled in the heart of Westcliff On Sea, Southend on Sea. We offer a warm, homely environment where older adults can feel genuinely comfortable, supported and at ease in their day to day lives. We care for people with a range of needs, including those living with dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also provide respite care for those who need a shorter stay, whether to recover after a hospital admission or to give a family carer some time to rest. Whatever brings someone through our door, we make it our priority to understand who they are as a person and what matters most to them. We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we do not take that trust lightly. Our team takes time to get to know each resident properly, building genuine relationships rather than simply following a routine. We believe that good care comes from truly listening, and we work closely with residents, their families and healthcare professionals to make sure every individual receives the right support. Our most recent Care Quality Commission rating is Good, which reflects the hard work our staff put in every single day. We are proud of that recognition, though we are always looking at how we can do even better. If you are considering Meteor Rest Home for yourself or someone you love, we would be very happy to welcome you for a visit and show you around.
