About Jubilee House
Jubilee House is a residential care home in Nottingham. We support older people and younger adults, including people living with a learning disability or autism, and we offer respite stays for those who need care for a short period, whether that is recovering after time in hospital or giving a family carer a proper break. Because the people who live here span a wide age range, we have learned not to run the house to a single rhythm. Someone who has always been an early riser is not asked to wait for a set breakfast time, and someone who prefers a slow morning is not chivvied out of bed. Care plans are written with the person, reviewed when things change rather than only when the calendar says so, and families are welcome to be part of that conversation. Nottinghamshire is home for most of the people we support, and we think that should stay true after a move. We help people keep hold of their own doctor where they can, get out to the places they know, and carry on with the clubs, faith groups and family visits that make a week feel like their own. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We are pleased with that, though we treat it as a description of where we are rather than a reason to stop looking at how we work. Anyone thinking about Jubilee House is welcome to come and see the place for themselves.
