We are a residential care home in Ashington, caring for older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia, and we also offer respite stays. We try to keep this feeling like a house rather than a unit. People get up when they wake, eat what they like, keep their own furniture and photographs around them and have visitors without arranging it in advance. Meals are cooked here and we pay attention to what people actually enjoy rather than what is easiest to put out.
