About Orchard Court Residential Home
Orchard Court Residential Home is in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. We provide residential care for older people, and for younger adults whose needs are best met in a home of this kind. Much of our work is with people living with dementia, and our approach there is unhurried and consistent. We keep the day familiar, we avoid unnecessary change, and we take time at the start to learn about somebody's life and habits from them and from their family. Knowing who a person has been tells us far more about how to care for them now than a list of needs ever could. We also support residents with physical disabilities, where the right equipment, enough time and careful attention to what somebody can still do for themselves are what matter. Life here is decided by the people living it. They choose when to get up, what to eat, where to sit and how the day goes. Visitors are welcome whenever suits them, and we keep relatives properly informed. Respite stays are available too, for family carers who need a planned break and for people needing support after illness or a spell in hospital. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are proud of it, and we are clear with ourselves that it is something we have to keep earning. Please come and see us on an ordinary day.
