About Clarence House Care Home
Clarence House Care Home is a residential home in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. We support older people and some younger adults, and we offer both permanent places and respite stays for those needing care for a short period or whose family carer needs a break. The people who live here need a wide range of help. Many need support with personal care, mobility, medication and meals. A number are living with dementia, and for them we keep the day familiar, keep the same staff around and take the time that is needed rather than the time that is convenient. We support people living with mental ill health, working alongside community mental health colleagues so that what happens here fits with the rest of a person's care, and people with physical disabilities, where equipment, seating and access decide how much independence somebody actually has. We try to keep the house feeling like a home rather than an institution. Food is cooked on the premises and people are asked what they would like, there is somewhere sociable to sit and somewhere quiet, and visitors do not need an appointment. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please arrange to visit and see for yourself.
