About Humberston House Care Home
Here at Humberston House Care Home, we are proud to serve the people of Grimsby and the wider North East Lincolnshire community. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection awarded us an Outstanding overall rating, and that recognition means a great deal to us because it reflects the everyday effort of every person who works here and, more importantly, the experiences of the people we support. We care for older adults, younger adults, and people living with dementia, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also offer respite care for those who need a shorter stay, whether that is to recover after a hospital admission or to give a family carer some time to rest. Whatever brings someone through our doors, we take time to understand who they are, what matters to them, and how they like their day to look. Residential and dementia care sit at the heart of what we do. For those living with dementia, we know how important it is to feel safe, recognised, and understood. Our approach is built around the individual, not a routine that suits the building. We work closely with families because we believe good care does not stop at the front door. We are part of the Grimsby community and that connection matters to us. We welcome family visits, encourage involvement in the life of the home, and try to make sure that moving into care feels like a positive step forward rather than a loss. If you are looking for care for yourself or someone close to you, we would genuinely welcome the chance to have a conversation. Come and have a look around, ask us anything you like, and let us show you what life at Humberston House is really like.
