About The Rowans
Here at The Rowans in Louth, Lincolnshire, we provide residential care for adults who need a little extra support to live well. Our home supports people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and those who are younger adults finding their way in life. We also offer respite care, giving family members and regular carers some well deserved time to rest, knowing their loved one is somewhere safe and genuinely looked after. We are proud that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in a "good" rating. That matters to us not as a badge on the wall, but as a reflection of the everyday effort that goes into making this a home people are glad to live in. What we care about most is getting to know the people who come through our door as individuals. Everyone here has their own story, their own preferences and their own way of doing things. We work hard to understand what a good day looks like for each person and to make those days happen as often as possible. Whether that means supporting someone to get out into the community, helping them stay connected with family, or simply making sure their favourite meal is on the table, the small things matter enormously to us. Louth is a lovely market town and we think where you live should feel like part of your life, not separate from it. We encourage people to take part in local activities where they can and to feel rooted in the community around them. If you are thinking about care for yourself or someone you love, we would always encourage you to come and visit us. There is no better way to get a feel for who we are than by walking through the door and having a conversation.
