About Hazel House
At Hazel House, we provide residential care in the heart of Grantham, Lincolnshire, and we take genuine pride in the community we have built here. Our home supports adults with learning disabilities and autism, with a particular focus on younger adults who deserve a place where they feel truly understood, respected and at home. We know that choosing the right care setting is one of the most significant decisions a person or their family will ever make. That is why we work hard to ensure that everyone who comes through our doors is treated as an individual, with their own preferences, routines and goals. We take time to get to know the people in our care and the people who love them, because good support only comes from genuine understanding. Alongside our residential placements, we also offer respite care, giving families and carers the opportunity to take a break while knowing their loved one is in a comfortable, familiar and supportive environment. We find that many people who come to us for respite return time and again, which we think says a great deal about the atmosphere we have created here. Life at Hazel House is busy, sociable and centred around the choices of the people we support. We encourage independence wherever possible and work alongside each person to help them live as fulfilling a life as they can. Whether that means supporting someone with daily living, helping them access their local community in Grantham, or simply spending time doing the things they enjoy, we are here for all of it. We are proud to be part of this town and to play a small but meaningful role in the lives of the people we support every day. If you would like to find out more, we would be very happy to hear from you.
