About Amberwood Care Home
Here at Amberwood Care Home, we are proud to be a trusted part of the Wigston community in Leicestershire, providing a warm and genuinely homely environment for the people who live with us. We specialise in Older Person Care, Residential Care, Physical Disability support and Respite Care, which means we are well placed to support a range of individuals and their families at different stages and circumstances. Whether someone is moving in with us permanently or joining us for a shorter respite stay, we work hard to make sure they feel settled, respected and at ease from the moment they arrive. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, and that means a great deal to us. It reflects the effort and commitment our team brings to their work every single day, not just when someone is watching. We are always looking at how we can do things better, and we take the views of residents and their loved ones seriously when making decisions about how we run things. Life at Amberwood is built around the individual. We take time to get to know each person properly, understanding their routines, their preferences and what matters most to them. Care is not one size fits all, and we would never treat it that way. For residents living with a physical disability, we are mindful of the practical support needed while also making sure people retain as much independence as possible. Families are always welcome here. We believe good care extends beyond the person living with us, and keeping those important relationships strong is something we actively encourage. If you would like to find out more about what we offer or come and have a look around, we would be genuinely glad to hear from you.
