About Barden House
Here at Barden House, we provide residential care for people in the heart of Morecambe, Lancashire. We welcome older adults, younger adults, and people living with mental health conditions, and we also offer respite care for those who need a short term stay, whether that is planned or at short notice. We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a person or their family will ever make. We do not take that lightly. From the moment someone walks through our door, we want them to feel at ease, to feel heard, and to feel that this is somewhere they can genuinely call home. Life at Barden House is built around the individual. We take time to understand who each person is, what matters to them day to day, and how we can support them in a way that feels right for them rather than fitting them into a one size fits all routine. Whether someone needs support with personal care, help managing their mental health, or simply a friendly face and a bit of company, we are here for all of it. Our team genuinely enjoys being here, and we think that comes through in the atmosphere of the home. There is warmth in this place, and residents and their families often tell us that it is what they noticed first. We are proud that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good. That means a great deal to us, though we always look at how we can keep improving and make sure the care we provide continues to meet the needs of everyone who lives with us.
