About Victory Socialcare Enterprise

Victory Socialcare Enterprise runs a residential care home in Hull supporting a mixed group of adults. Some of our residents are older people who need help with the practical parts of the day. Others are adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, people with a physical disability or people living with sight or hearing loss, and many are younger adults. Planning for individuals is what makes that work. One person may want help to wash and dress and then to be left in peace. Another may want staff alongside them cooking, going out locally, getting to an appointment or working through something that has gone wrong. We pay attention to how each person communicates, what they find difficult and what helps them settle, and we build the plan with them and with the people who know them well. Where somebody needs help to move about safely the right equipment is in place and our staff are trained for it, and where there is sight or hearing loss we adapt how we communicate and do not move things without saying so. Everyday life includes cooking, shopping, keeping your own room as you want it, choosing how to spend the day and getting out into the city. Respite stays are available and give family carers a genuine break. Please contact us if you would like to look round.
