About Murreyfield Care Centre
Murreyfield Care Centre is a residential home in Hull, supporting older people and younger adults. Our residents include people living with dementia, people with a learning disability or autism, and people managing mental health conditions, and we plan care around the individual rather than the label attached to them. That starts with proper listening when someone moves in, and it continues through the small daily decisions that make up the experience of living here. How you like to be washed and dressed, when you want to get up, what you eat, who you want told about your care, how much company you want. We write these things down so that every member of staff is working from the same understanding. We encourage people to stay connected to the life they had. Family, friends, familiar places in Hull, hobbies, faith and routines all help people feel like themselves, and we work to protect them rather than let them quietly drop away. Our staff are trained for the range of needs we support, and we make a point of consistency so that residents are looked after by people who know them and notice quickly when something changes. We also provide respite stays for shorter periods. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good, and you would be very welcome to visit.
