About Foxglove Care
Foxglove Care is a residential home in Hull supporting adults with a learning disability and autistic adults. We are a small place by design. That keeps things calm, it means staff know everyone properly, and it makes it far easier to spot when somebody is not themselves. Living here should feel like living in a house, not in a setting. People choose how their own room looks, get involved in the shopping and cooking if they want to, and decide how much of the day is spent in company and how much on their own. We plan around individual routines, including the ones that might look unusual from the outside but make perfect sense to the person, because predictability is often what allows somebody to relax enough to try something new. Getting out into Hull matters to most of the people we support, whether that is a regular activity in the week, seeing family, or a trip somewhere that has become a fixture. We arrange the support that makes those things happen and step back when it is not needed. We also offer respite, so families who provide care themselves can take a break knowing their relative is somewhere familiar with staff who understand them. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are looking for somewhere for yourself or a relative, please get in touch and come and have a look.
