About Beverley Court Residential Home

Beverley Court Residential Home is a residential care home in Hull, offering a settled and friendly place to live for older people who would rather not manage alone any longer. Most of the people who live with us are older adults who need support with washing, dressing, medication and the ordinary business of the day. We look after that side of things quietly and with respect, so that the rest of life can carry on. Residents choose when to get up, where to sit, who to spend time with and how involved they want to be in what is going on around them. We also care for people living with dementia. We have learned that what helps most is consistency and patience, familiar faces who know a person's history, and a calm environment where nobody is rushed. Families often tell us how much difference it makes when staff already know that their mother takes sugar in her tea, or that their father likes to be up early and reading the paper. Short stays and respite are available too, whether a carer at home needs a planned break, or someone is recovering after a spell in hospital and is not quite ready to go back to their own house. The Care Quality Commission rated us good at our most recent inspection. We are proud of that and we work to keep improving on it. If you would like to see Beverley Court for yourself, please get in touch. Visitors are welcome, and we are happy to talk through what life here is really like before anyone makes a decision.
