About Bradbury Grange
Here at Bradbury Grange, we provide residential and dementia care for older people in the heart of Whitstable, Kent. We are a care home that takes our responsibilities seriously, and we work hard every day to make sure the people who live with us feel safe, respected and genuinely at home. We know that moving into a care home is a significant step, both for the person coming to live with us and for their family. We try to make that transition as straightforward and as comfortable as possible, taking time to understand each person's history, preferences and routines before they arrive. That individual approach shapes everything we do, from the way we support people with their daily lives to how we plan activities and mealtimes. Our team supports people living with dementia as well as those who need residential care more generally. We recognise that dementia affects everyone differently, and we work to understand each resident as an individual rather than focusing solely on their diagnosis. Consistency matters enormously in this kind of care, and we put a lot of thought into how we structure each person's day in a way that feels familiar and reassuring. We want to be straightforward with anyone considering Bradbury Grange. Our most recent CQC inspection resulted in an overall rating of requires improvement, and we take that seriously. We have been working through the feedback from that inspection and making real, practical changes as a result. We believe in being open about where we are and what we are doing about it, because families deserve honesty when they are making such an important decision. If you would like to come and see us, speak to the team or ask any questions, we would be very glad to hear from you. Whitstable is our community, and Bradbury Grange is proud to be part of it.
