About Rose Cottage
Here at Rose Cottage, we offer a warm and homely environment for the people who live with us, right in the heart of New Romney, Kent. We are a residential care home supporting a wide range of individuals, and we take real pride in getting to know each person as an individual rather than simply a set of needs. We support older adults, younger adults, and people living with a learning disability or autism, as well as those with a physical disability. We also offer respite care, which can be such a valuable lifeline for individuals and their families when a short break or a period of additional support is needed. Whatever brings someone through our door, we work hard to make sure they feel genuinely at home here. Our approach is straightforward. We listen carefully, we involve the people we support in decisions about their own lives, and we build care around what actually matters to them. That might be maintaining a familiar daily routine, pursuing hobbies and interests, staying connected to family and friends, or simply having good company and a comfortable place to call home. We take all of that seriously. The team here brings a good deal of experience across our different areas of support, and there is a genuine sense of community within Rose Cottage. We are small enough to offer real consistency and familiarity, which makes a meaningful difference to the people who live with us. New Romney is a lovely part of Kent and we are well placed for families visiting from across the area. If you are looking for a care home for yourself or someone you love, we would be very happy to have a conversation or arrange a visit so you can see the home for yourself and ask us anything you would like to know.
