About Rosedene Residential Care
Rosedene Residential Care is a residential care home in Margate, Kent. We are home to older people who need help with daily life, and we also welcome people for respite stays, whether that is to recover after a spell in hospital or to give a family carer a proper break. We are not a large institution and we do not run like one. People here get up when they wake, eat what they fancy, keep their own routines and furnish their rooms with the things that matter to them. Our team knows everybody properly, which means we notice quickly when someone is off colour, quieter than usual or simply fed up, and we can do something about it the same day. Being by the sea is part of life here. Trips out, fresh air and visitors dropping in all keep the place connected to the town rather than shut away from it. Families are welcome whenever they want to come, and we would far rather have them involved in decisions than informed after the fact. At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us outstanding overall. We are proud of that, though we are conscious that a rating reflects a moment in time and has to be earned again every day through the ordinary work of looking after people well. If you are considering a home in Margate, please arrange to visit, meet the residents and see how we go about things.
