About Woodside Care Home
Here at Woodside Care Home, we are proud to be part of the Dartford community in Kent, providing a genuine home for the people who live with us. We support a range of individuals including older adults, younger adults, and those living with mental health needs, and we also offer respite care for those who need a shorter stay to recover or to give family carers a well earned break. We believe that good care starts with really knowing the people in our home. That means taking time to understand each person's history, preferences, routines and what matters most to them on a daily basis. Whether someone is joining us for a short period or making Woodside their long term home, we want them to feel settled, respected and genuinely looked after from the moment they arrive. Our team works hard to create an atmosphere that feels calm and welcoming rather than clinical. We know that moving into a care home is a significant step, and we take that seriously. Families are always welcome to be involved in their loved one's care, and we encourage open conversations so that everyone feels informed and included. As a residential care setting, we focus on maintaining independence wherever possible while ensuring that the right level of support is always available. Each person's care is tailored to their individual needs and reviewed regularly so that it continues to reflect who they are and how those needs may change over time. We are committed to being open and transparent, including about our current CQC rating position. We welcome feedback from residents, families and visitors because we see it as an opportunity to keep improving. If you would like to find out more about life at Woodside or to arrange a visit, we would love to hear from you.
