About Bradstowe Lodge
We are Bradstowe Lodge, a residential care home in Broadstairs, Kent. We look after older people who are finding it difficult to manage at home on their own, and we take respite bookings for shorter stays. We have kept our focus clear rather than trying to be all things to everyone. Residential care for older people is what we do. Doing it properly means knowing each person well: their history, the work they did, the family names, what comforts them and what reliably unsettles them. Staff who carry that knowledge are the ones who notice quickly when somebody is unwell or out of sorts. Beyond that, much of what makes a day here good is quite unremarkable. A decent breakfast at a time that suits you. Your own chair and your own belongings. A walk out when the weather allows. Company if you want it and quiet if you would rather, and somebody with the time to sit down and properly listen. Broadstairs and the sea are on the doorstep, and we support people to keep up the connections they already have. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please ring us and come and see the home.
