About The Red House
Here at The Red House, we are proud to offer a warm and welcoming home for the people who live with us in the heart of Gloucester, Gloucestershire. We believe that moving into a care home should feel like gaining a community, not leaving one behind, and everything we do here reflects that commitment. We support a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, and people living with a learning disability or autism, mental health needs, or a visual or hearing impairment. We also offer respite care for those who need a shorter stay, whether planned or at short notice. Our team takes the time to understand each person as an individual, learning what matters to them, what they enjoy, and how they like their day to look. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission awarded us an overall rating of Good, which we are genuinely pleased about. It reflects the everyday work that goes into making The Red House feel like a proper home rather than just a place to stay. We do not take that rating for granted and we are always looking at ways to improve and grow. Life at The Red House is shaped by the people who live here. We encourage residents to stay connected with their families and the wider community, and we work hard to create an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued. Whether someone needs a high level of support or simply a little help day to day, we tailor our approach accordingly. If you are considering care for yourself or someone you love, we would warmly encourage you to get in touch or come and visit us. We think the best way to understand what we offer is simply to walk through the door and see it for yourself.
